What is a Christian Worldview?

We believe that any religious system of system of philosophy must be able to answer four questions in a coherent n reality based system. The four questions are:

1). Origin – Where did I come from?

2). Condition – Why am I the way I am?

3). Salvation – How do I change myself?

4). Destiny - Where do I go?

Let’s make a few observations based on the facts of life;

A). There is no neutral worldview. Either you are for something or against another. No man can be for all things.

B). A good world view should have a high degree of coherence/ internal consistency. It must not contradict itself for the sake of the “law of non-contradiction” which states; “a logically contradictory statement cannot be true.”

C). A good worldview will have a strong foundation in fact. It must correspond with reality.

D). A good worldview will avoid both extremes; occums razor and reductionism.

- Occams razor says, “Entities should not be multiplied beyond necessity” if a system is too complicated such as a 20 page thesis on “apples” Occams razor will remove the excess and get to a clear and precise understanding of what exactly the apple is.

- Reductionism on the other hand is simply saying, “it’s a thing” when speaking of the apple. Reductionism is when something is reduced to an explanation being far too simple to accurately describe it.

E). A good worldview is not established by one truth but is an amalgamation of evidence that coheres to clearly portray the information. A good worldview is like a stage master who has placed lighting on a performance stage. Once all of the lights are on; although they light the whole stage they clearly point to center stage, or the truth about that which they are made to illuminate.

In short, the information provided should clear the bushes so the individual looking on will have an obstructed view of the truth.

We believe that Christianity has not been tried and found wanting but rather has largely been left untried and found difficult. The Living God requires His people to be Holy as He is Holy; He requires a kingdom of priests, a royal nation. We challenge all visitors to get on their knees and simply pray for the Living God, Jesus Himself, to open their eyes and ears. We challenge you to give the Living God a chance; He will prove Himself faithful. Please take the time to explore our site and reason through the information provided as it might mean your very soul.
